Key Responsibilities:
- Anticipate and address the needs of both providers and patients
- Oversee daily patient flow and serve as a communication link
- Monitor clinical messages and ensure effective communication
- Prepare examination, procedure, and recovery areas
- Record and assess patients' vital signs
- Complete necessary documentation for patient records
- Guide patients with discharge and follow-up instructions
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Completion of a Medical Assisting program is preferred OR a minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience as a Medical Assistant
- Familiarity with EMR and/or Electronic Practice Management systems is essential
