Job Description:

Acclaim Multi Specialty Group, a partner with JPS Health Networkis seeking a motivated and ambitious FullTime Advanced Practice Provider to join our dynamic Sleep Medicine team. As the county hospital system, JPS hasbeen serving the residents of Tarrant County for over 100 years. This isa wonderful opportunity for innovative and passionate individuals to treatcomplex medical issues to those patients that need it most.

Position Description

  • APP generally not assigned call
  • 4.5 Days Outpatient Clinic

Pulmonary/Sleep Team:

  • 8 Physicians
  • 6 APPs

Knowledge,Skills and Abilities

  • Must be comfortable working in a large public/county facility
  • Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge in area assigned, and competency in assessment techniques, diagnosis and treatment processes that apply to the assigned medical specialty area
  • Must have good interpersonal, verbal and oral communication skills
  • Orders, collects, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient problems and health care needs
  • Formulates and implements comprehensive outcomes-based patient treatment plans based on patient assessments, evidence-based medicine, standards of care, professional practice guidelines in collaboration with physicians when appropriate
  • Initiates timely consultation and referrals
  • Must be able to demonstrate patient centered/patient valued behavior
  • A commitment to lead and support efforts to enhance the climate of diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of the Division

Qualifications:

RequiredEducation and Experience

  • Degree in PA studies or nurse practitioner certification from an approved program
  • Licensed as a physician assistant or nurse practitioner in the State of Texas and maintain such license in good standing at all times
  • 1 Year experience preferred
  • Sleep medicine experience preferred but not required

RequiredLicensures/Certification

  • Physician Assistant Board Certification and Experience
  • Texas Medical License
