The purpose of this position is to learn and work to understand our manufacturing process from assembly through validation and ship. Perform assembly activities for project and tools. Work directly for our shop leaders in build, pipe, wire, and robotics. Interface with fellow employees and supervision/management. Potential full-time employment with Gonzalez. The Responsibilities and Duties include the following: Fit and assemble components according to assembly prints, manuals, design changes. Shadow basic set-up and programming of robots. Review assembly prints and component manuals. Perform in-process inspection per checklists. Follow other directions set by manufacturing management. The required Knowledge Skills & Abilities: Basic understanding of assembly through build, pipe, wire and robotics. Basic knowledge of hand and power tools Good communication skills. Computer skills (Microsoft Office) The Qualified Candidates must posses the following: Highly motivated. Basic knowledge of industry concepts. Physical Requirements (to include but not limited to): Spend time bending or twisting of body. Spend time climbing ladders, kneeling, crouching, standing, and walking. Ability to lift loads up to 50lbs. and wear PPE (when necessary).
