Role: Manual Tester

Location: Irvine, CA or Mount Laurel, NJ

Level of Experience: 5-8 Years

Job Description:

Understand, review, and analyze business requirement.

Develop test plans to verify the functionality of software applications.

Create test cases based on user stories and requirements.

Participate in test environment and necessary test data preparation.

Perform manual functional and regression test execution.

Report and document defects, issues and test results clearly and accurately using software

testing tool.

Identify defects and work with developers to resolve them.

Help troubleshoot issues.

Participate in the complete Software Development Life Cycle.

Participating in daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning and sprint retrospectives

QA Tester Requirements and skills:

Completed an Undergrad / bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or Information

Technology or related field.

3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in manual software testing

Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and quality assurance processes.

Automation testing skill is desirable.

Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure software meets user requirements and is

delivered on time.

Comprehensive knowledge of testing tools, Azure DevOps preferrable.

Attention to detail and a strong commitment to deliver high quality software.

Good written & verbal communication skills.

Ability to think critically and analytically.

Good problem solving and organization skills.

Certification in software testing such as ISTQB is a plus.
