Behavioral Health Technician

We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Health Technicians to join our team at a 48-bed licensed, acute care behavioral hospital. In this role, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and ensure a safe and efficient treatment environment. If you have experience in acute inpatient psychiatric care and a high school diploma or equivalent, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care as assigned by the Registered Nurse
  • Observe and report changes in patients' condition or behavior
  • Offer support to patients in their activities of daily living
  • Facilitate educational and activity groups as assigned
  • Monitor vital signs such as heart rate and blood pressure

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One year of acute inpatient psychiatric care experience preferred
  • Compassionate and empathetic demeanor
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
