Structural Engineer

Our client is currently looking for a Structural Engineer to provide structural inspections, including site survey, design, construction documentation, special inspections, and construction administration for commercial and residential building structures. Projects will mainly focus on structural analysis of commercial buildings.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare reports, designs, and drawings.
- Calculate pressures, loads, and stresses and select construction materials.
- Travel to client sites domestically.

Secondary Responsibilities:
- Monitor contractor work and inspect properties.
- Utilize CAD for simulation purposes.
- Design structures with common structural materials (structural steel, concrete, masonry, wood).

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of experience with site surveys and preparing load calculations.
- Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering.
- Proficient with the Google app suite.
- Knowledge of at least one Finite Element Analysis program (Enercalc, STAAD, RAM, RISA, etc.).
- Knowledge of IBC, IRC, ASCE-7, AISC, ACI-318, NDS, and ACI-530.
- Must be able to travel domestically up to 50%
- EIT Preferred
