Mammography Clinical Specialist

HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Mammography Clinical Specialist to fill an opening with a well-known Hospital in Miami, FL.

Daily Responsibilities for the Mammography Clinical Specialist:
  • Develops and implements training and competency assessment programs in Mammography.
  • Conducts department orientation, training, and initial assessments for new and re-hired personnel.
  • Collaborates with technologists and supervisors to enhance skills through tailored training and clinical rotations.
  • Offers clinical and technical support to staff and students for career advancement.
  • Standardizes protocols and reduces radiation exposure through coordination with sites and radiologists; performs Mammography exams across all applicable age groups, ensuring customer satisfaction and appropriate care.
Compensation: $32.60 - $42.38/hr (depending on experience and tenure)
  • Up to $15K Sign on Bonus (varies by department)

Minimum Education/Licensures/Qualifications:
  • Education: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
  • Graduate of AMA Council of Education approved Radiologic Technology program
  • Licenses & Certifications: Basic Life Support; Certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT); Registered Technologist - Mammography (ARRT)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience
  • Preferred: Advanced education in staff development or education
