JOB DESCRIPTION
122 bed pediatric hospital - 24 bed unit providing 24 hour care to infant through young adults.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Possesses critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Possesses effective oral and written communication skills.
- Possesses effective interpersonal relationship skills.
- Ability to utilize computers for documentation purposes.
- Technically competent in tasks within the scope of practice of a Registered Nurse.
- Ability to read and comprehend English at a level necessary to follow written and oral instructions and safety precautions.
- Minimum of one year
- Current RN License to practice in state or compact license
- CPR (by the American Heart Association)
- BLS, ACLS, (PALS, if applicable)- Amercian Heart Association
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing or Employee Degree in Nursing. BSN preferred.
