Job Description
As the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of SumnerOne, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our information assets and ensuring the integrity and availability of our systems. You will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive information security strategy, aligned with our business goals. Your responsibilities will include identifying and prioritizing security risks, designing and maintaining a strong security architecture, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and overseeing incident response and recovery plans. As the CISO, you will also be responsible for promoting security awareness, managing third-party risks, and regularly communicating updates on our security posture to executive leadership.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive information security strategy aligned with SumnerOne’s business goals
  • Identify, assess, and prioritize security risks. Establish incident response and recovery plans
  • Design and maintain a robust security architecture for our internal IT systems
  • Ensure compliance with data protection and security regulations
  • Implement awareness programs and provide training on security best practices
  • Evaluate and manage security risks associated with vendors and partners
  • Lead response to security incidents and minimize their impact
  • Establish and enforce security policies and standards
  • Conduct regular audits and collaborate with auditors
  • Provide updates to leadership on security posture and risks
Qualifications for Success:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in IT, cybersecurity, or related field
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or C|CISO preferred
  • Proven experience in information security management
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks and best practices
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
