Continuously improves applications by demonstrating knowledge and application of current technologies.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Participates in all facets of the delivery process.

  • Confers with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design systems and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.

  • Develops or directs software system testing or validation procedures, programming, or documentation.

  • Analyzes user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.

  • Modifies software to correct errors, to allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance.

  • Develops software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Full Stack Engineer (or closely related occupation) building software solutions in a financial services environment.

Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Full Stack Engineer (or closely related occupation) building software solutions in a financial services environment.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

  • Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) delivering scalable and resilient JEE/J2EE applications according to Agile methodologies in a financial services environment; designing Web applications using Object-Oriented (OO) principles and design patterns; managing and storing distribution transactions using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Object Relational Mapping (ORM); developing software products using Spring Tool Suite, Eclipse, IntelliJ, Visual Studio Code, JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber, and Jasmine.

  • DE translating creative software design concepts and ideas into reality using front-end technologies (Angular, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and Backbone.js); transforming page layouts, images, animations, and interactive elements into organized Web pages in accordance with business requirements.

  • DE in middleware orchestration using SOA technologies -- WSO2 or TIBCO; designing and developing RESTful Web Services; using responsive end-to-end MVC-based Web applications through Java Servlets development of Tomcat applications, NodeJS, Oracle, Structured Query language, and design patterns.

  • DE performing software development to deliver cloud based software solutions--automating resource scheduled start/stop of Amazon Web Services (AWS) EC2 instance to reduce the costs in the Cloud; setting up the Autoscaling group and Blue-green deployment; automating the application build and deployment activities in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline; deploying data in AWS S3 bucket in the AWS Cloud environment.

Currently, most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite all business days of one assigned week per four-week period (beginning in September 2024, the requirement will be two full assigned weeks).
