JOB DESCRIPTION

In this role, the successful candidate will provide development and support of Coldfusion web applications for a portfolio of Credit Risk and Collections applications. To be successful the candidate must be driven and well-organized, with strong learning and multi-tasking abilities. It is essential for the individual to be self-motivated and tenacious, thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, and complete tasks on agreed schedules.

The selected candidate:
  • Will show drive and interest in learning new systems, applications, technologies and business processes
  • Will complete technical development assignments independently with minimal supervision.
  • Will provide technical and consultative support on complex technical matters
  • Will troubleshoot and debug existing legacy application software source code
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associates/2-year certification (Bachelor's preferred) in a technical field such as Computer Science
  • 3+ years in a professional/corporate software development role
  • Advanced knowledge of Coldfusion web development
  • Working knowledge of SQL Server and application databases
  • Working knowledge of client scripting such as jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
  • Working knowledge of DevOps concepts and tools (GIT, Jenkins, ADO)
  • Working knowledge of application monitoring / logging concepts (Dynatrace, Splunk)
Other Preferred Qualifications:
  • Exposure to application architecture concepts such as web server configurations (IIS, Apache), Load Balancing (F5, hot/hot, hot/cold), Java Virtual Machines, Identity and Access Management (SSO/SAML/2FA), SSL Certificates, Java Key Stores
  • Working knowledge of Java and/or .Net/C# development
  • Exposure to enterprise scheduling tools / batch job programming such as Zena
  • Experience working in large, highly regulated corporate environments (Banking / Financials)
