What We Do: We provide in-home private-duty nursing care for children between the ages of 0 and 20 years old. These children are medically and technologically dependent. Most have many other special medical conditions that require meticulous attention from skilled practitioners. Education/Certification Requirement: Current, unrestricted nursing license approved by the Texas State Board of Nursing Job Type(s): Full-Time and PRN Functions & Responsibilities (Including but not limited to): Provides exceptional nursing services, including medications, as prescribed by a licensed physician Monitors for potential abuse or neglect situations and follows the regulated reporting guidelines for any suspected issues Monitors all aspects of health and safety within patient's home Submits correct documentation after each shift performed Upholds aspects of HIPAA Maintains medical supplies as needed Available to parents for heath related questions and/or concerns. PALS Home Health is implementing a new Nursing Residency Program to enable new graduate nurses and those with less than 2 years of relevant experience to perform to their highest ability while taking exceptional care of their patient(s). License Requirement (one of the following): Registered Nurse (RN) Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Work Location– Various cases in the following locations. You'll only be assigned to one location since PALS Home Health matches you to a family with the goal of long-term placement: Lubbock, TX Area Working days (varies per case): Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday We have immediate openings for weekend nurses and night nurses.
