Senior Transmission Line Engineer Location: Richmond State/Territory: Virginia Department: Power Delivery Carolina Line Dept Description Senior Transmission Line Engineer POWER Engineers is currently seeking an Senior Transmission Line Engineer to work in its Power Delivery Carolina Line Department in Richmond, VA (reporting to our Fort Mill, SC office). The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of transmission line design for new lines, relocations, upgrades, and fiber optic additions. Required Education/Experience Civil (BSCE) or Electrical (BSEE) degree, from an accredited university preferably with a power option Experience in the design of overhead High Voltage and Extra High Voltage transmission lines including route selection, line and structure spotting, structure design and analysis, and development of construction bid packages PLS-CADD proficiency The candidate must have strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills in order to communicate effectively with internal team members and external client personnel Experience using the Microsoft Office software suite Desired Education/Experience Professional Engineering license (PE) strongly preferred Managerial and leadership skills At POWER Engineers, you can have a rewarding career on every level.
