Summary/Objective

As a leasing agent, you are a landlord representative, and your job is to effectively communicate the business terms and conditions for a wide variety of commercial real estate products, including

office and industrial. Leasing Agent responsibilities include presenting various commercial properties and provided amenities to prospective tenants. This position ensures that various

commercial, industrial, and retail properties are occupied, and tenants are satisfied prior to moving in. Relationship management skills are required to work with various internal and external

stakeholders to achieve leasing goals. The leasing agent builds tenant loyalty through effective communication, quick response and follow through, and excellent customer service.

Essential Functions
• Your job is to lease space.
• Warmly greet visitors, prospective tenants, and current tenants.
• Shows space to prospective tenants.
• Maintains regular contact with tenants, monitors lease expirations to meet renewal goals.
• Negotiates new leases and lease renewals.
• Drafts Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and letter of intent.
• Networking. Develop and grow relationships with national, regional, and local tenants, develop and grow relationships with tenant brokers, businesses, civic groups, associations, and individuals

to achieve desired occupancy.
• Monitors and maintains a real estate tracking system to ensure timely transaction completion (UDA).
• Ensures spaces are efficiently and effectively made market ready for new occupants.
• Understands how to review, analyze and interpret lease documents.
• Works closely with Leasing Manager to coordinate deal flow.
• Works closely with other internal teams to achieve business goals and objectives.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibility.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office

equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands

This is largely a sedentary role; however, touring of buildings and spaces throughout various Olymbec owned properties is required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is

regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit; climb stairs; squat; kneel; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The

employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision,

color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Driving is required.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This position is a salaried position that also receives commission.

Travel

Travel within the local area is required. Required Education and Experience High school diploma.

Preferred Education and Experience

1. Bachelor’s degree.

2. 1+ years of commercial real estate transactions experience or similar combination of industry

tenure and education.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Must have a valid driver’s license.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Must be able to legally work in the United States.
