Seeking a self-motivated and energetic hands-on full-time Maintenance Technician for our Hinsdale area Manufactured Home Community. The ideal maintenance technician is skilled in a variety of areas including landscaping, snow removal, minor repairs, carpentry and general grounds maintenance, among others. Must be willing to work as a team with other staff members but also work independently under the direction of the community manager. Submit your resume today if this sounds like the job for you Responsibilities: • General maintenance • Daily grounds cleanup • Mowing, landscaping, trimming, and edging • Snow removal/plowing and salting during cold months • Occasional light electrical, plumbing, and HVAC work • Occasional light painting and carpentry work • Vehicle and equipment maintenance • Monthly vehicle and equipment inspections and reporting • On-call for after-hours emergencies (evenings and weekends); shared with fellow maintenance staff • Physical demands include bending, pushing/pulling, lifting/carrying 50 pounds or more Qualifications: • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States • High school diploma or equivalent • Required: 1-year residential property maintenance experience • Valid driver's license • Experience with and knowledge of the proper use of power and hand tools • Experience with and knowledge of proper use of lawn care and landscaping equipment • Experience with snow plowing and snow removal equipment • Must be a team player but have the ability to accomplish tasks with minimal supervision • Must be willing and able to work independently under the direction of community management • Must undergo a mandatory standard background check which includes criminal Compensation: $19 per hour
