Key Responsibilities: Inspection and Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, damage, and compliance with company standards. Verify product quantities, labeling, and packaging against orders and specifications. Conduct random sampling and detailed inspections of products to ensure quality. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of inspections, findings, and corrective actions. Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports to management. Document and report any discrepancies, damages, or non-conformities. Compliance and Safety: Ensure all inspections and operations comply with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards. Identify and report potential safety hazards within the distribution center. Participate in regular safety training and meetings. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with warehouse staff, supervisors, and quality control teams to address and resolve issues. Provide feedback and recommendations for process improvements. Assist in training new employees on inspection procedures and quality standards. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in quality control or inspection are a plus. Previous experience in a distribution, warehouse, or quality control role. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to read and interpret documents such as engineering drawings, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Proficient in using inspection tools and equipment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical ability to perform inspections, including lifting and moving products up to 50 pounds.
