Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care within the unit during your designated shift. You will work collaboratively with other management team members, directing and evaluating nursing care in alignment with established policies. Your role is crucial in fostering an environment that prioritizes patient experience and high clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate efficient admission and discharge processes, ensuring a seamless patient experience.
  • Engage in continuous assessment of patient care quality, collaborating with colleagues.
  • Promote teamwork and improved outcomes through cooperation with experts and management.
  • Embrace a patient-first philosophy and actively utilize service recovery techniques.
  • Implement nursing strategies to enhance staff engagement, including hourly rounding.
  • Assist in recruiting, training, and evaluating new team members, while addressing conflict resolution and personnel policies.
  • Help manage staff scheduling, aligning labor with patient care needs.
  • Support inventory control efforts and assist in managing necessary supplies and equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Nurse with an appropriate diploma or degree.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a nursing role.
