Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Instill Safety as a top priority.
- Support a team consisting of Project Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, Grade Foremen, and other staff.
- Build relationships and communicate with owners, design partners, & workforce.
- Create and manage 3D models and designs for field users to perform layout work.
- Perform sUAS photogrammetric surveys.
- Understand and assist with project layout and survey.
- Perform earthwork quantity takeoffs from field survey data.
- Oversee delivery, inventory, and warehousing of materials and equipment.
- Resolve field problems and conflicts with subcontractors, suppliers, and workforce.
- Maintain as-built drawings, survey records, and manuals.
- Attend and/or lead meetings.
- Other duties as appropriately assigned.
Experience, Education & Skills
- pursuing Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
- Must be competent in the use of computer software applications used for project control and administration, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and Bluebeam.
- Gain strong knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of surveying, as well as familiarity with Trimble's suite of civil construction field equipment and software. (Trimble Siteworks, Earthworks, GCS900, WorksManager, etc.)
- Strong communication skills both written and oral.
- Good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies.
- Must have a positive attitude and possess excellent motivational skills.
- Time Management, organization, and prioritization skills are crucial.
- Must have a valid Driver's License.
