JOB SUMMARY

Leitner-Poma of America, Inc. is seeking a motivated and punctual Electrical Assembler I to assemble electrical components and products based on engineering specifications and blueprints, operate hand and power tools, and maintain a safe and organized workspace. This role will be responsible for troubleshoot and resolve basic electrical problems. This is a full-time, hourly position hiring at $18.75-$23.75 per hour based on relevant experience & certifications.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Fits, files, drills, and assembles junction boxes, panels, or performs a wide variety of electrical assemblies for the installation to Leitner-Poma products.
  • Reads, uses and understands electrical/ mechanical schematic drawings.
  • Installs cables in wireway and cable tray and properly labeling, following engineering documents.
  • Moves crates and materials using material handling machinery such as a forklift or pallet jack.
  • Works in safe manner in accordance with established Shop operating procedures and practices.
  • Maintains a clean and organized production space.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma/GED equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and able to travel.
  • Authorized to work in the United States of America.
  • Proficient in the English language.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Vocational or technical training in electrical systems or a related field.
  • Previous experience in electrical assembly.
