DESCRIPTION

The LCSW Clinical Supervisor will provide clinical supervision and support to Supervisees in Clinical Social Worker as they work towards licensure as an LCSW. This role is focused on ensuring high-quality client care through supervision, case consultation, and adherence to ethical and professional standards. The position plays a crucial part in maintaining clinical excellence within the practice.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Clinical Supervision
  • Provide individual and group supervision to Supervisees in Clinical Social Work by ensuring compliance with ethical standards and clinical best practices.
  • Review and approve clinical documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
  • Offer guidance on complex cases, helping clinicians navigate clinical challenges and make informed decisions.
Case Consultation
  • Facilitate case consultation meetings, providing feedback and suggestions to clinicians on their cases.
  • Assist in developing and implementing treatment strategies for clients with complex needs.
  • Support clinicians in maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Professional Development
  • Assist clinicians in identifying areas for professional growth and support their development through training and continuing education opportunities.
  • Stay informed about current trends and best practices in social work and mental health services.
Compliance and Quality Assurance
  • Ensure that all clinical practices adhere to state regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
  • Conduct periodic chart audits to ensure documentation meets regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Assist in the implementation of quality improvement initiatives as directed by the Clinical Site Manager.
Collaboration and Communication
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Site Manager and other team members to ensure cohesive service delivery.
  • Provide feedback to the Clinical Site Manager on clinician performance and any issues that may arise.
  • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and other organizational activities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Be a committed Christ-follower
  • Requires a Master's degree in Social Work or education equivalent to a Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • An active and in-good-standing LCSW license with the Virginia Department of Health Professions.
  • Current and up-to-date CAQH profile
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience.
  • Current Professional Liability Insurance
  • Complete all required background checks including drug tests.
