The Department of Healthcare and Family Services, Division of Child Support Services is seeking to hire a motivated candidate to serve as a Data Reconciliation Supervisor assigned to our Bureau of Policy and Program Support Data Reconciliation unit. This supervisory position assigns and reviews work; provides guidance and training to assigned staff; counsels and reassigns staff to meet day to day operating needs. Additional duties include planning, directing, developing, and evaluating the Statewide Database System for the Data Reconciliation unit to implement operating policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills to be successful in evaluating the operations of the tasks of this position.

Job Responsibilities

  • Under general direction, serves a Data Reconciliation Supervisor in planning, directing, and evaluating the Data Reconciliation unit for the Statewide Database System Support program in the Bureau
  • Serves as a working supervisor
  • Serves as a member of the State Disbursement Unit (SDU) workgroup
  • Consults with managers and agency staff on programming changes resulting from any functional areas which are directly related to the financial and enforcement model of the Statewide Database System within the Divisions of Child Support Services (DCSS)
  • Confers with the Department of Innovation and Technology (DoIT) analysts to provide case status for identification of the payment path for disbursement in Child Support cases and for monitoring of the IV-D and NON IV-D caseload
  • Serves on the Court Order Clean-up workgroup
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above
Minimum Qualifications
  • Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four (4) years of college, preferably with courses in business or public administration
  • Requires two (2) years of responsible administrative experience in a public or business organization
Specialized Skills
  • Requires two (2) years of administrative experience working with state and federal policy as it relates to child support
  • Requires two (2) years of experience working with the Statewide Database System, managing data processing including financial distribution, Data Base Cleanup, and data reconciliation
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two (2) years of administrative experience working with state and federal policy as it relates to child support
  • Two (2) years of experience working with a Statewide Database Systems data processing including financial distribution, Database Cleanup, and data reconciliation
  • Two (2) years of experience working with confidential information
  • Two (2) years of administrative experience working with principles of governmental accounting, program budgeting, and statistics
  • Two (2) years of professional experience developing and implementing operational policies, goals, and objectives for a child support program in accordance with state and federal regulations
  • One (1) year of professional supervisory experience

  • Requires the ability to utilize and maintain state issued equipment such as a laptop
  • Requires ability to travel in the performance of duties, with overnight stays as appropriate
