Working with us means working with the latest technologies and groundbreaking, sustainable innovations.Join us on our journey for a better tomorrow.Your RoleIntroduction & Job descriptionCompressor Technique Business Area wants to be a leading provider of Engineered Compressed Gas Systems into Oil & Gas, (Petro-) Chemical Industry as well as other industries which needs Engineered Solutions.For that purpose and activity Atlas Copco has created a focussed team in Middle East covering UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman ,KSA ,Kuwait and IRAQ.In this role, Project engineer will be responsible to provide a high quality and efficient service by anticipating and responding to customers queries and interact with the Project Engineers in Systems as and when required.ContactsInternal:With Key Account Manager and Marketing DepartmentsWith Systems Engineering.With Finance & Administration DepartmentWith HR DepartmentWith Service DepartmentExternal:With CustomersWith DistributorsWith SuppliersYour Responsibilities includeTo manage order execution, achieving client satisfaction in terms of delivery and technical requirements.To provide customer service by anticipating and responding to customer queriesTo manage and motivate all resources allocated to the project, therefore enabling a successful completion.To prepare and supply documentation as required within the contract.To be responsible for the project engineering support of various projects from conceptual and detailed design stage through engineering, production, performance testing and dispatch to customer.Execute project Engineering support activates to various projects.To act as main coordination link between customer and Systems.To address material and schedule concerns with customer and Systems..To be responsible for proper review and processing of variations and claims received from customer and factory.To provide input of cost estimates if requested during bidding of projects.To manage budget, procurement and schedules for the projects handled.Manage a given project within the costs allocated without escalation & create avenues to save costs wherever possible.To coordinate and participate in formal design and engineering reviews technical and commercial impact by customer and by factory.To keep management posted on the project status.To monitor the overall progress of projects against schedule and milestones reporting to management, as well as providing early warning of potential slippage, in case of the latter; propose remedial actions so that the contract completion data for the work is not jeopardized.To succeed, you will need Desirable:Fluent in English.Knowledge and Experience of Autocad or equivalent Packages is a requirement.Experience requirementsProven Experience as a contract or project management.Knowledge and practical experience of software including drafting techniques (including CAD, MS office,Windows, Lotus Notes, MS Projects)Has excellent Interpersonal skills.Has effective communication skills.Is able to plan and organize effectively.Must be able to read pneumatic/hydraulic flow diagrams and general arrangement drawings.Understanding of electrical drawings.Fluent in English.Knowledge & CompetenceGood command (verbal and written) of English.Command of other languages is an advantage.Solid understanding and mature user of MS Office.Use of Auto CAD will be an advantage.Good presentation skills.Strong technical and commercial knowledge of engineered gas compression systems.Educational requirementsUniversity degree - technically oriented or similar through experiencePersonality requirementsPro-active, positive team player with good interpersonal skills and a strong communicatorPeople oriented who thrives working in a dynamic, complex and multicultural business environment.Self-motivated, independent, flexible, well organized and methodical.Accurate and diligent with an awareness to speed of execution within a pressurised environment.Customer oriented: to be able to establish relations and networks with people inside and outside the organization.Result driven: have a drive for results which means that you put in the ambition and the effort to achieve results and accept accountabilityWillingness to travel within the region and internationally.Must be Customer CentricIn return, we offer youWhat you can expect from us?Atlas Copco is aSwedish company, the Swedish human culture continues to flow through the veins of our 38, employees in more than 90 countries.
