They are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Engineer, with experience in the construction industry to join their dynamic team and contribute to the successful execution of architectural projects. Responsibilities: Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, encompassing timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with client expectations and architectural design specifications. Team Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, ensuring seamless communication and effective project execution. Construction Oversight: Manage on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to architectural plans, quality standards, safety regulations, and project timelines. Client Engagement: Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the construction phase. Budget Monitoring: Monitor project budgets and expenditures, making informed decisions to optimize project profitability and resource allocation. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and proactively implement strategies to mitigate challenges, ensuring successful project delivery. Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about and ensure compliance with relevant building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards in Nigeria. Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports. Quality Assurance: Implement and uphold quality control processes to guarantee the delivery of high-quality construction projects in line with architectural standards. Requirements Requirements Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry Prior experience in an architectural firm is an added advantage Strong knowledge of architectural design principles and construction best practices. Proficient in project management software and other relevant tools. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Familiarity with Nigerian building codes, regulations, and safety standards. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. - Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within the architectural or construction industry. - Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and multidisciplinary teams. - Strong understanding of architectural design principles, urban planning concepts, and project management methodologies. - Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Knowledge of relevant industry regulations, codes, and standards.
