Account Representative Job Description: American Medical Imaging

Position Overview:

The Account Manager will be a key member of the sales team for American Medical Imaging, LLC. The Account Manager is responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, managing assigned action items in existing client accounts, cultivating strong relationships, and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling. The primary target market for this role will be Hospitals, Clincs, Imaging Centers, Veterinarians and Chiropractors. The ideal candidate is a highly active, curious and hard-working customer-focused sales professional with a strong desire to generate personal income by creating new customer relationships that lead to opportunity funnel growth with a successful close rate.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Relationship Management:


  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned Hospitals, Clinics, Imaging Centers, Veterinarians and Chiropractors, ensuring their imaging needs and concerns are addressed promptly.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to foster loyalty and trust.
  • Understand client requirements and provide tailored solutions to meet their specific needs.
  1. Account Expansion and Growth:
  • Identify new business opportunities, upsell or cross-sell products and services to assigned existing clients.
  • Collaborate with management, service and sales team personnel to develop and execute account-specific strategies for revenue growth.
  1. Product Knowledge and Expertise:
  • Develop a deep understanding of our imaging equipment product lines and related services to effectively communicate their features and benefits to clients.
  • Provide product demonstrations and training to clients as needed.
  1. Customer Support and Issue Resolution:
  • Address client inquiries, concerns, and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate with the customer support team to ensure prompt resolution of technical or service-related issues.
  1. Account Planning and Strategy:
  • Develop account and territory plans to outline goals, strategies, and action steps for each client account.
  • Monitor account performance and adjust strategies as needed to achieve targets.
  1. Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with internal teams, including sales, OEM product specialists, and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on new products, services, and industry trends.
  1. Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, account activities, and sales progress via the company CRM (Salesforce)
  • Generate regular reports to track account performance and provide insights for improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in account management/sales, preferably in the healthcare or medical equipment industry.
  • Technical and functional familiarity with medical imaging equipment and related services is a plus.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Experience:
  • 2+ years of experience in a healthcare provider market account management or customer-facing role.
