• Compensation: $16-$25 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide swim instruction.

• Build effective, authentic relationships with students and parents.

• Enforce safety rules and regulations.

• Complete required paperwork in a timely manner.

• Interact with parents/guardians on the activities and development of
students' swim skills.

• Use problem solving and creative thinking skills to identify and resolve
challenges that students encounter.

• Inspect pool areas before and after each class for possible maintenance, cleanliness or damage issues. Reports issues to management as appropriate.

• Maintain and ensure proper storage of all pool equipment. Places and
removes lane lines.

• Perform light cleaning duties such as window washing, pool
vacuuming, etc...

• Attend mandatory meetings/training outside of regular working hours.

• Weekday and weekend availability.

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Enthusiastic Personality

• 16 years or older

• No prior teaching experience necessary, but a willingness to learn and have fun is a must

Certificates and Licenses: American Red Cross- Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid certifications are required within 90 days of hire.

Work Environment: Swim instructors spend the majority of their working time in the pool with students.

Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
