Additionally, the work closely with other Saint-Gobain entities stakeholders (category managers, regional purchasing group, business unit purchasing director…) and cross-functional teams to mitigate supply risks and drive continuous improvement initiatives, including supplier evaluation and audit programs.--As purchasing manager, you will ensure compliance of practices and implement initiatives to constantly improve and seek excellence. - EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Business or Technical Discipline required (Supply Chain and/or Purchasing discipline preferred) Master's degree preferred. WORK EXPERIENCE: 7+ years of experience within a manufacturing environment in purchasing, supplier relationship management 3+ years experience in a supervisor role managing/developing direct reports. Relevant exposure to compliance programs and audit frames required.
