Inviting applications for the role of *Cloud Engineer *
We are looking for candidates who have a passion for cloud with knowledge of different cloud architecture environments, virtualization, and data center automation. Ideal candidates should have technical experience in Architecting to help customers get value from client Platform. This key role demands a highly motivated individual with a strong background in Computer Science/ Software Engineering. You are meticulous, thorough and possess excellent communication skills to engage with all levels of our stakeholders. A self-starter you are up-to-speed with the latest developments in the tech world.

Responsibilities

· Develop and Maintain Azure Cloud Services in accordance with Security and Standards.

· Understands and experienced in *Rehydration *or *Immutable Infrastructure *using IaC tools like *Terraform and ARM*

· Understands and experience in *Configuration Management *tools like *Ansible or Chef*

· Hands on experience with *Windows and Linux *and *Administration*

· *Infrastructure provisioning*, configuration and application deployment is completely automated.

· IaC – Infrastructure as Code. Automation scripts are treated as code; source controlled and versioned. (So being comfortable with GitHub, Linux, python scripting, *PowerShell* and etc)

· Be able to *troubleshoot issues *on the *VMs*, *Windows/Linux Server VMs*.

· Write operational procedures

· Work closely with Application/Product owners

· Remediate any availability, regulatory or performance-related operational deficiencies;

· Notify Client of changes to and adoptions of new cloud technology;

· Remain current in the knowledge and use of cloud technology, virtualization, compute, storage and management products.

Requirements

· Overall 7+ years of experience in Infrastructure and Operations

· Minimum 3 years of experience in Azure Cloud operations

· Hands on experience with Azure cloud native services

· Hands on experience with Immutable/Rehydration of Azure services

· Experience with Agile and DevOps concepts

· Strong communication and written skills

· Experience creating technical documentation

Desired Skills

· Hands on experience Managing solutions on Azure

· Knowledge of security controls for the Public cloud (encryption of data in motion/rest and key management)

· Linux and Windows OS Administration

· Experience with Open Source Cloud and configuration management tools (Terraform Ansible, etc.)

· Experience with alternate cloud providers (e.g. AWS)

· Bachelor’s degree

Knowledge of Azure products and services: Azure AD, VM, Key Vault, Backup, Monitor, Log Analytics, AKS, Azure SQL, Azure Security Center, Azure WebApps and Functions.
