As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a talented and experienced Product Owner to drive our local website initiatives and contribute to our continued growth.

Role Overview:
As a Product Owner, you will be a key member of our dynamic and collaborative team, responsible for overseeing the development and enhancement of our web-based product offerings, specifically for our 70+ local branch websites. Your primary focus will be on understanding customer needs, prioritizing feature development, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects that align with our business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and stakeholders, to gather requirements and define the product vision.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback analysis to identify opportunities and drive product improvements.
  • Define, prioritize, and maintain a clear and actionable backlog, ensuring that it aligns with the company's strategic goals and customer demands.
  • Break down product requirements into user stories with clear acceptance criteria for effective development and testing.
  • Regularly communicate project status, progress, and timelines to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment across teams.
  • Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews, to drive project execution.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that optimize customer experience and engagement.
  • Facilitate the integration of new brands into our website within the Pella Family of products
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and customer preferences to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Role will have direct reports (3+)
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline) or related experience.
  • Proven experience (2+ years) working as a Product Owner or similar role in a web development environment, preferably within the e-commerce sector.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A customer-centric mindset with a deep understanding of user experience principles.
  • Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Familiarity with web technologies, front-end development processes, and industry best practices.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.


TRAVEL

The position will require 5% travel.
