Suburban Hopsital, part of the Johns Hopkins Health System, offers direct access to world class, innovative and ground breaking care provided by teams of specialists in medical oncology, radiation oncology and surgical oncology, with access to advanced treatments through Johns Hopkins clinical trials. Our experienced radiation oncology experts work as part of larger multi-disciplinary teams to treat a variety of cancers. These include physicians, medical physicists, dosimetrists, nurses, and therapists, creates an individualized radiation therapy plan tailored for a patient's specific needs.

With high-end technology and a commitment to solid, evidence-based practice, our researchers continue to pioneer new findings in molecular radiation sciences, findings that lead to new treatments, higher levels of safety, and ever increasing hope for patients and their families.

Suburban Hospital is searching for a PRN Radiation Therapist to join our elite and patient focused team. Our Radiation Oncology department is located offsite in Bethesda. As a Radiation Therapist you will prepare and apply ionizing radiation to patients. This treatment may include operating:

  • CT simulator
  • Linear accelerator
  • QA dosimeters
  • Diode system

At this site, we do not treat pediatric patients and no Total Body Irradiation (TBI).

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an approved Radiation Therapy Technology program
  • Americn Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy
  • Current Maryland licensure as Medical Radiation Technologist
  • Valid CPR Card
  • New grads are encouraged to apply

Shift:

PRN (as needed)

6:30am - 5:00pm
