Overview:
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Controls Specialist to join our team in Seattle, WA. This role is essential for the installation, programming, calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of HVAC and building automation control systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in building automation controls, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality service and maintaining the integrity and efficiency of control systems across various job sites.
Responsibilities:
- Travel to multiple job sites to diagnose, repair, and maintain building automation control systems for our current customers.
- Conduct point-to-point checks, programming, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of HVAC/building automation systems.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records, including tools/material tracking, service and work orders, timecards, expenses, purchase orders, and maintenance logs.
- Ensure compliance with all OSHA, EPA, local, state, and federal regulations, as well as adherence to manufacturer's warranty standards.
Requirements:
- At least three years of experience working as a Service Technician within a medium or large commercial/mechanical building automation controls construction/service company.
- Demonstrated local and stable work history.
- Proficient in diagnosing and solving complex issues related to HVAC and building automation systems.
- Familiarity with a broad range of hardware and software associated with building automation controls.
- Excellent organizational skills for managing documentation and maintenance records.
Preferred:
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently across multiple job sites.
- Strong communication skills for effectively interacting with customers and ensuring satisfaction with services provided.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development in building automation and HVAC control technologies.
