Position: Tooling Technician III
Location: Chatham, NY
Salary: Up to $37.73/hr
Shift Options: Swing Shift (7am-3pm / 3pm-11pm) or 3rd Shift (11pm-7am)
Signing Bonus: Up to $5,000
Relocation Package: Partial

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to and assist in developing Safety and Housekeeping procedures.
  • Execute practical machining tasks (milling, lathe turning, precision grinding, fine polishing).
  • Use metrology equipment and document results.
  • Read and interpret Mold Prints, 3D Renderings, and Schematics.
  • Maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Address injection molding issues (cooling, venting, steel condition).
  • Communicate effectively with processing, production, and maintenance teams.
  • Document mold setups and assembly procedures.
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance tasks as outlined in IQMS.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Two years of mold maintenance experience.
  • Experience with injection molding.
  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Desirable Skills:

  • Basic understanding of Electrical Circuits and Hydraulics.
  • Mechanical aptitude and metrology knowledge.
  • MIG or TIG welding experience is a plus.
