MEPP's Service Center Division (SCD) is seeking a knowledgeable and hands-on Technical Support Specialist II to join our team and provide expert technical support for our advanced power distribution systems and inverter-based products. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and make a real impact by supporting both internal teams and external partners.

What You'll do:
  • Deliver technical support at the system and facility level for MEPPI products, working closely with authorized service providers (ASP) and end users.
  • Manage and track field incidents, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
  • Provide assistance to internal divisions during Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations and Quality Assurance (QA) issues.
  • Analyze performance data, identify trends, and recommend design improvements to mitigate failures.
  • Develop and distribute technical updates, troubleshooting guides, and documentation for MEPPI, ASPs, and customers, ensuring compliance with quality systems.
  • Support MEPPI's remote monitoring software, including vendor relations, product documentation, and technical assistance for customers. Maintain software databases and version controls.
  • Act as a technical liaison between MEPPI's expatriates and equipment divisions.
  • Provide field-based support through site visits, technical presentations, and direct customer interaction.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with other MEPPI departments, customers, and suppliers to drive division goals forward.
What You Bring:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience with 3-5 years in technical or field support roles, particularly in power distribution systems.
  • Technical Expertise: Intermediate knowledge of power distribution systems and remote monitoring, with hands-on experience in field testing, troubleshooting, and data analysis.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industry standards like UL, NEC, and IEC, along with advanced skills in safety requirements and test equipment.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with diverse teams, vendors, and customers.
  • Tech Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and MRP/ERP systems, with experience in producing technical documents.
