Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) needed at Psychiatric private practice located by UTEP. We have part time, full time, and contractor roles. Must be bilingual in English/Spanish.
You will be working with a psychiatrist who is renown for his contributions to the field and his ongoing mentorship to many providers in the community. He is a Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association who has been in practice for over 30 years and has taught thousands of students from medical schools and universities from all over the country. We currently precept medical students, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners. On our team of providers are also several psychiatric nurse practitioners (PMHNP's). We are a small team that is very welcoming and easy to work with, and we hope to add LPC's, LCDC's, and other licensed therapists to our team.
As for El Paso, it is a beautiful mountainous city that is rapidly growing and diversifying. The scenery is truly beautiful and if you love hiking, we have MANY mountain ranges and state parks here to choose from. People here are extremely welcoming. The food is delicious. Every day new restaurants, bars, cultural centers, and other activity centers open as many both large companies (like Amazon) and small entrepreneurs are opening businesses here. Since we are a border city with Mexico, many people here are bilingual in English and Spanish. In recent decades we have had a lot of people moving in from all parts of the world and also from many U.S. cities since the cost of living here is very low in comparison to what it is in other cities.
