Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for multiple complex assembly operations of products and sub-assemblies in accordance with Bill of Material (BOM), Bill of Operations (BOO), assembly drawings, and other work instructions. Your responsibilities will include ensuring accurate and efficient assembly of fabricated products per work order, following standard operating procedures and job safety requirements, conducting final visual and functional inspection of products, identifying non-conforming products, troubleshooting, root cause analysis and testing, and participating in Lean/Continuous Improvement initiatives. You will also be involved in cycle/physical counts and cross-training in multiple department functions.

Hard Skills

  • Experience with hand and power tools

  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and job safety requirements

  • Ability to conduct final visual and functional inspection of products

  • Capability in troubleshooting, root cause analysis and testing

  • Experience in Lean/Continuous Improvement initiatives

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 18 Week(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Oakland Park, Florida.

Work Environment

This role operates on a Monday - Thursday - Shift - 4 -10's schedule. The schedule will be from 6:30am to 5pm with a half-hour lunch break. Physical demands of the job include regular standing, walking, reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. You will be required to use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and climb or balance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds; frequently required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds or more. Regularly required to operate manufacturing equipment, requiring gross and fine motor skills, and to employ eye-hand coordination. Frequently required to view detailed drawings or reports closely.
