The ideal candidate for the Production Assembly Specialist role will engage with cutting-edge, innovatively designed products by assembling, repairing, managing supply inventory, documenting processes, and conducting quality assessments.
Key Responsibilities of the Production Assembly Specialist:
- Prepare for tasks by reviewing assembly guidelines, blueprint specifications, and bills of materials, while gathering necessary parts, sub-assemblies, tools, and materials.
- Assemble components by verifying connections for proper fit, securing parts, and sub-assemblies.
- Document actions by completing production and quality assurance forms.
- Read, interpret, and adhere to basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, work orders, bills of materials, work instructions, and other documents to accurately assemble products.
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet established quality standards.
- Identify product defects and complete the necessary documentation when defects are found.
- Route, comb, twist, wrap, tie, and attach wiring to terminal points according to jig board layouts, utilizing soldering tools and hand instruments.
- Connect wiring to components such as relays, circuit breakers, plugs, switches, and solenoids, and install accessory assemblies in electrical or electronic units using soldering tools and hand instruments.
- Perform functional and continuity tests on electrical assemblies, components, wire harnesses, and plugs using an ohmmeter, test lights, and other electrical testing devices.
- Maintain a safe and organized working environment by adhering to procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Lead/Manager.
- Advanced assembly experience is required.
- Excellent communication skills in English are essential.
- Experience with electrical and/or mechanical assemblies is advantageous.
- Prior experience in troubleshooting and repairing electromechanical devices is beneficial.
Candidates must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
