Responsible for and directly involved in all areas of our design-analysis-development-deploy cycle for the RingCentral Phone VDI project.

To succeed in this role you must meet the following requirements

  • Performing architecture analysis, gathering requirements and creating supporting specifications and documents to provide all the information required to support and improve the core functionality of the final software solution.

  • Determining requirements of interaction with the server side and investigating incidents related to the excessive load on the company's servers.

  • Development of software solutions.

  • Implementing core client-side modules.

  • Optimization of performance critical algorithms and data analysis models for maximum CPU/memory utilization of a single machine.

  • Development of unit tests.

  • Using code convention with strict and clear coding style guides into practice and issues tracking techniques that are required to improve the quality and the speed of the development process.

  • Performing code reviews and keeping the company's GitHub repositories in a clean state, ready for continuous integration and deployment.

  • Responsible for native part of RingCentral VDI project.

  • Executing full lifecycle software development, from producing specifications and determining operational feasibility, to integration of software components into a fully functional software system.

  • Support and development of new features for the RingCentral VDI project solutions for Windows, MacOS, Linux and other platforms, perform architecture analysis, design, prepare estimates, conduct analysis production issues and incidents.

  • Development and adaptation of the RingCentral VDI project solutions for other operating systems and devices of various vendors.

  • Engineering a monitoring system to collect telemetry data to track key performance indicators of the RingCentral VDI project solutions.

  • Analysis of user incidents and the development of solutions to meet user requests.

Desired Qualifications:

  • U.S. Bachelor degree or higher or equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field plus three (3) years of relevant, progressive experience is also acceptable. Within the foregoing parameters, any suitable combination of education, training & experience is acceptable.

  • Experience with VDI project development, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Windows, MacOS, Linux, C++, Objective-C, OOP, OOD, STL, Boost, Qt, data analysis, algorithms, GitHub, and unit tests is required.
