Position Summary:

Prepares and maintains grants, contracts, and budgets for programs within TrilliumPlace. Collects, organizes and analyzes information and data necessary for maximizing grants and contract billings and ensuring program compliance. Prepares written and financial reports related to grants and contracts. Coordinates special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position.

    SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Proficient skill in Microsoft Office, particularly spreadsheets. Written and verbal communication skills. Ability to understand and apply guidelines, policies, and procedures.

Essential Functions:

Grant Administration

  • Coordinates the preparation of grant applications for state, federal, public and private funding agencies, by providing a variety of administrative support activities to ensure the proposal requirements are met in a timely manner.

  • Collects and/or creates supporting materials for grant proposals and other reports including demographic tables, job descriptions, resumes, maps, organizational charts, bibliographies, tables of contents and forms.

  • Develops and maintains effective working relationships with internal and external partners, auditors, grantors, third party payers, providers and other departments.

  • Contributes to the grant writing process by preparing sections of grant proposals including budget narratives, personnel and other proposal sections.

  • Prepares and submits various deliverable in accordance with applicable deadlines.

  • Organizes the activities related to compliance reviews and monitoring visits from regulatory agencies, accrediting organizations and funding bodies.

  • Coordinates workflow and deliverables with office staff, program staff, leadership and stakeholders in order to develop grant applications and support the ongoing implementation of grant programming.

  • Researches funding sources and disseminates information on funding opportunities to other grant staff.

Grant Documentation and Evaluation

  • Develops budgets and budget narratives that are included in grant applications and grant reports.

  • Establishes a process and procedure for ongoing maintenance of a system to track and report grant performance measures to funding bodies, leadership, or other parties as directed.

  • Oversees and ensures that data is entered timely and correctly in the identified grant database.

  • Prepares, documents, and analyzes financial reports to ensure compliance with funding agencies and UPH policies.

  • Conducts data collection and data entry across various data sources to support the evaluation of existing grants and/or potential grant opportunities.
