About the Role:
As a Lead Mechatronics & Robotics Technician, you will oversee the installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will support the Operations Maintenance team by designing solutions for challenging problems, managing projects, and mentoring service technicians. Key Responsibilities:
- Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures
- Maintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems in the building
- Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, etc.
- Create and close out work orders with labor hours, equipment maintenance and parts used data
- Develop training and work plans for service technicians
- Move up to 49lbs as well as stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours
Shifts available:
- Front Half Day Shift
- Back Half Day Shift
- Front Half Night Shift
- Back Half Night Shift
Basic Qualifications:
- 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
- High school or equivalent diploma
- Flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- 4+ years of experience in maintenance and repair of material handling equipment and automated conveyor systems
- 4+ years of Blueprint & Electrical Schematic knowledge
- 3+ years of experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in mentoring less experienced technicians
- Experience with MHE safety standards
- Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college
- 4+ years of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles
- 2+ years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field
- 2+ years of experience with robotic operation and maintenance
