Description: Position Overview The Payment Processing Specialist position data enters and processes a high volume of electronic payment requests for customers utilizing a variety of desktop applications. This position will also be responsible for handling requests for invoice/payment receipts via multiple channels. A qualified candidate must have the ability to process a large volume of work with a strong attention to detail. Time management and prioritization is a must. Essential Responsibilities • Data entry and processing of payment tokens for tolling and violation rental customers Handle 40-60 inbound calls a day. • Process electronic payments via inbound phone calls in an efficient, professional, and courteous manner • Email customer invoices and payment receipts • Retrieve, sort, route, and scan mail items for processing • Document customer accounts and/or communicate workload inputs/outputs in a clear and concise manner • Other duties as assigned This would be an entry level position for our contact center. The candidate would take inbound calls for our customers wanting to settle their balances due. We do have a customer service team, so any questions outside of paying, the customer would be redirected to that team.
