PRIMARY OBJECTIVES OF POSITION

Work closely with Production and is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the company's business goals and objectives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND ACCOUNTABILITY

1. Follow all procedures and guidelines while manufacturing products to the highest quality standards.

2. Take product and material samples to Quality Control for approval.

3. Assist in loading/unloading of raw materials, finished goods, and other freight delivered from vendors.

4. Take every safety precaution when manufacturing chemicals or handling hazardous materials.

5. Assist in performing general preventative maintenance on equipment including general housekeeping and cleanliness of equipment and work.

6. Ensures tote retesting and certifications are current and complete before using. Clean totes and apply necessary labels and stenciling to appropriate packages and containers.

7. Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.

8. Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.

9. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.

10. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

11. Proficient skills to operate pallet jacks and forklifts.

12. Follows Good Manufacturing Processes at all times.

13. Responsible for maintaining clean and orderly blending area and all areas of the manufacturing elements of the plants. "Clean as you go" is expected.

14. Assist in taking physical inventory when necessary.

15. Responsible for Continuous Improvement in all aspects of production.

16. May be required to occasionally work evening and weekend hours as needed to ensure proper completion of duties.

17. Perform all tasks safely and in a manner that will not create or pose a direct threat to the health and/or safety of any person. Report unsafe acts, safety risks, and conditions to your supervisor or lead immediately.

o Ensure equipment is used correctly use properly maintained.

o Maintain knowledge of chemical hazards and safety practices.

18. Regular attendance during your scheduled work time is required to perform in a satisfactory manner.

19. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of safe work practices

• Possess basic math skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attentive and timely in responses

• Good follow up and ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously without getting flustered

• Collaborative and cooperative work style internally and externally with a "can do" attitude

• Excellent problem solver who sees solutions instead of obstacles

• Familiarity with MS Office software and strong computer skills

• Valid driver's license

• Excellent attendance record

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma

• one years or more of production service experience or similar
