We are recruiting Fires Leads in Fort Shafter, HI on behalf of our client, Horizon Strategies, who offers strategic and operational planning, leader development, and exercise advisory services for government, corporate, and academic clients.

Responsibilities

Fires Leads support the Joint Pacific Multi-National Readiness Center (JPMRC) on-site in Honolulu, Hawai'i. Supervise, direct, and oversee the planning and execution of the JPMRC Fires team supporting exercise development, training management, and battlefield simulation. Oversee the development of the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) products to include exercise orders and supporting staff products. Lead and manage the Fires Exercise planners and planning effort. Occasional travel for rotational support in Hawaii and Alaska.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience at the tactical fires battalion command level
  • Experience as a Division or Corps FSCOORD/AFSCOORD
  • 4+ years of experience on Brigade and Battalion level staff
  • 2+ years of experience with live, virtual, and constructive exercises at the Brigade level and below, or an assignment at a CTC
  • Experience with Army or Marine Corps and Joint Doctrine and Training Policy
  • Experience using Microsoft Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
