Are you passionate about technology and eager to kickstart your career in the IT industry? S&L Integrated is looking for a Tier 1 System Analyst to join our Managed Service Provider (MSP) team and provide exceptional support and assistance to our clients. You will play a critical role in ensuring our clients' IT systems run smoothly and efficiently, while helping them navigate the ever-evolving world of IT.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Client Support: Provide first-line technical support to our clients via phone, email, or chat. Respond promptly to their IT-related issues and inquiries, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network problems for clients. This includes desktops, laptops, servers, operating systems, and various software applications.
  • Remote Assistance: Utilize remote support tools to troubleshoot and resolve issues for clients, reducing the need for on-site visits.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all support requests, actions taken, and resolutions. Keep detailed documentation of client systems to aid in future troubleshooting.
  • Software Updates: Assist clients with software updates and patches, ensuring their systems are up-to-date and secure.
  • System Monitoring: Monitor client networks and systems proactively to identify potential issues and take preventative action.
  • User Training: Provide basic training to clients on the use of software and hardware, helping them become more self-sufficient.
  • Escalation: Escalate complex issues to Tier 2 or Tier 3 support teams as necessary while maintaining effective communication with clients.
  • IT Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and trends in IT to provide expert advice and recommendations to clients.
Our ideal future team member will have a:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and hardware.
  • Customer-focused mindset with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent) is a plus.
