Summary:The primary goal of the Revenue Analyst is to support sales, margin, trade spend, promotion and/or competitive intelligence reporting of the company by efficiently building and maintaining reports in Business Objects (Sales Data Ware-house), IRI, AC Nielsen or other systems as directed. The Revenue Analyst alternately can be assigned to Sales Planning where they support the sales planning system and processes, including process improvement recommendations. As a Revenue Analyst you will provide database, report, master data and application validation for applications that you are assigned and support. You will provide analysis for the management team as requested as well as proactively provide analysis when they have identified a problem or opportunity.
Objective analysis, solid spreadsheet technical knowledge, written presentation preparation, and clear communication skills are required.
A Revenue Analyst builds fundamental knowledge of how brands, product assortment, distribution, merchandising, pricing and promotions impact the retailer’s category and each manufacturer’s performance.
Job Responsibilities:Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Provide analysis and reports from the available tools such as AC Nielsen, IRI, Consumer Panel Data, Revenue Data Warehouse, Retailer’s systems
  • Enter sales planning data and promotions into sales planning system under key account manager or manager supervision
  • Enter contracts and prices into customer systems accurately and timely (and frequently with short lead times.)
  • Continually measure, monitor and modify tactics to show progress against the team’s strategic goals

Desired Experience:
  • 3+ years’ experience in sales planning and data analytics (preferably in DSD and or CPG sales)

Desired Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and or equivalent working experience
