Job Description:

We seek an experienced Senior Refrigeration Service Technician to join our team in Astoria, OR. The ideal candidate will be a resident with a stable work history and a minimum of 6 years of experience in commercial refrigeration service and repair.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of commercial refrigeration equipment, including small RTUs, split systems, walk-ins, reach-ins, ice machines, and coolers.
  • Provide high-quality service and customer support during field visits or dispatches.
  • Manage all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks.
  • Produce timely and detailed service reports.
  • Follow all company's filed procedures and protocols.
  • Cooperate with the technical team and share information across the organization.
  • Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings.
  • Build positive relationships with customers.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in commercial refrigeration service and repair.
  • Proven field service experience.
  • Ability to work with various models and brands of refrigeration equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work within a team and independently.
  • Familiarity with mobile tools and applications.
  • Technical degree or certification in HVAC or Refrigeration is preferred.
Additional Requirements:
  • You must be a local Astoria, OR, resident or willing to relocate.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to handle physical workload.
