Description

Plumbing Foreman - Commercial New Construction

Chesapeake Plumbing & Heating, Inc., an award-winning company recognized as a Top Workplace in The United States, has an immediate opening for an experienced, licensed Commercial Plumbing Foreman with WSSC experience.

Reports To: The Commercial Plumbing Foreman will report to the Plumbing Supervisor of the respective Division of Chesapeake Plumbing & Heating, Inc.

Job Overview: The Commercial Plumbing Foreman will work apart of the new construction division to construct and install commercial plumbing systems.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Install pipes and fixtures per regulation
  • Rough-in
  • Install support pipes, equipment, and fixtures prior to installation
  • Assembles fittings and valves for installation
  • Modify length of pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing materials as needed for projects
  • Use hand tools safely as necessary
  • Test plumbing systems for leaks and other problems
The right individual will be an experienced Commercial Plumbing Foreman with the ability to exercise good judgement in a variety of situations. They will be able to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities, with proven ability to work independently. They should excel in a very fast paced environment, able to thrive under pressure, and demonstrate the highest level of professionalism. The Commercial Plumbing Foreman should deliver with a "No Excuses, Make It Happen" attitude.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2-4 years of commercial plumbing experience (required)
  • Journeyman or Master Plumber (required)
  • WSSC experience (preferred)
  • New construction plumbing
  • Able to work in a variety of extreme weather condition
  • Must have tools and reliable transportation
  • Valid driver's license
  • Able to problem-solve and have strong decision skills
  • Resourceful team-player, with ability to also perform independently.
