A Day in the Life:

As an Electronic Health Record (EHR) IT Specialist, you will play a vital role in managing and optimizing our electronic health record systems. This position involves collaborating with healthcare professionals and IT experts to ensure the efficient operation of our EHR systems and adherence to regulatory standards.

While prior experience in IT is desirable, we are willing to provide extensive training to the right candidate.

Work/Life Balance: Salaried-exempt, full-time, 40 hours per week, with weekend/on-call availability required on a rotational basis.

EHR IT Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Learn and understand the functionalities of our electronic health record systems
  • Assist in the implementation, configuration, training, and maintenance of EHR software
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide support to end-users in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system usability and performance
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as HIPAA and Meaningful
  • Contribute to the development of support documentation and training materials
EHR IT Specialist Skills and Qualifications:
  • Associate degree
  • Clinical or healthcare background required
  • Must have a working knowledge of windows-based desktop operating systems (Windows 10 and above)
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required
  • Working knowledge of networked computer environment
  • Experience in developing and providing training and support in a technology related project
