Provide recommendations, technical support, and leadership for the selection and incorporation of cloud-based big data warehouse and data lake solutions and business applications. Select appropriate AWS services to design and deploy applications based on the business requirements. Participate in the architecture review board, preparing and presenting architectural options to management. Use of ETL, Hadoop, Apache Spark, Apache NiFi, Apache Airflow, Kafka, Java, Spring Boot, Spring REST, Hibernate, Python, TypeScript, Maven, Spark, Zookeeper, Druid, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK), Jenkins, GitLab, and AWS services. Travel and/or relocation required. REQUIREMENTS: Position requires a Master's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years in a related occupation including Solution Architect, IT Consultant, Systems Analyst, or related experience. Will accept a Bachelor's degree in any field of study plus 5 years of progressive experience in lieu of the required education and experience. A combination of foreign post-secondary education determined to be equivalent to a U.S. Bachelor's degree is acceptable. Position requires 2 years of experience with technical architecture, Java, and Spring. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience as per the requirements cited herein. 40hrs/week.
