Title: Product Management Email Specialist

Duties:
  • Provides expert content/professional leadership on complex Product Management assignments/projects. Develops and directs programs to manage a significant product or product category. Evaluates the market's product requirements and identifies enhancements to current features and functionality. Establishes strategies to manage a product or product category's life cycle. Interfaces with multiple departments to develop product requirements and specifications. Prepares and coordinates product introductions and updates. May lead projects or project steps within a broader project or have accountability for ongoing activities or objectives. Exercises considerable creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceiving, planning, and delivering initiatives. Uses deep professional knowledge and acumen to advise functional leaders. Focuses on providing thought leadership within Product Management but works on broader projects, which require understanding of wider business. Recognized internally as a subject matter expert. Note: Product Management roles may include a blend of Product Management/Product Development responsibilities. This role will also manage all email and email related Vendor relationships with responsibilities that include QBR’s, invoices, MSA’s and SOW’s.
  • An email marketing specialist coordinates email strategies for an organization’s products or services. Experience in managing an RFP process for selecting an enterprise email service provider (ESP). They must have excellent written communication skills, exceptional proofreading and editing skills, and a high level of understanding of marketing messaging. They also evaluate and optimize email campaigns for more efficient delivery and higher open rates. Other typical duties of an email marketing specialist include maximizing revenue opportunities, and developing effective content marketing strategies to increase the company’s subscriber list.
  • Email marketing specialists must be creative, have excellent interpersonal skills, and have some technical aptitude to utilize databases for tracking leads. They should ensure that all email marketing campaigns conform to current email best practices in the industry. The ability to research, identify, and evaluate digital trends to create better engagements and new opportunities are key skills. Beyond their other responsibilities, email marketing specialists need to be proficient with a variety of applications for email, scheduling, analytics, and automation.

  • Detailed knowledge of email regulations, best practices, and compliance internationally in various regulatory regimes .
  • Experience using SQL and similar queries to analyze data.
  • Proficient in data analytics to determine important data and be able to suggest improvements.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills and exceptional attention to detail.
