The Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for providing patient-oriented service in a clinical or front office setting; performs a variety of clerical and administrative duties related to the delivery of patient care, including greeting and checking in patients, answering phones, collecting patient co-pays and insurance payments, processing paperwork, and performing other front office duties as required in a fast-paced, customer-oriented clinical environment.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
Location: 8526 Del Webb Blvd, Las Vegas, NV
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, guidance, support and direction for the front office and non-clinical staff. Function as first contact for customer service issues. Resolve complex issues rarely deferring to supervisor/manager.
- Responsible for enforcing customer service standards, billing functions to include patient check in/out process, cash handling, demographics and insurance information in IDX.
- Oversee and monitor impanelment and call process making adjustments as needed to meet customer's expectations, mediate patient issues and manages the administrative aspect of the patient's visit, ensuring that customer service standards are met.
- Call handling with resolutions for incoming and outgoing patients
- Complete daily deposit. Accountable for adherence to business compliance audits criteria.
- Assist management staff with supervisory responsibilities including, but not limited to, hiring, staff orientation and development, evaluations and disciplinary actions.
- Accurately generate and analyze purchasing, payroll, provider productivity, impanelment, missing charges, staffing and any other management requested reports.
- Development and oversight of efficient customer service processes including waiting room management.
- Responsible for compliance requirements as dictated by clinic needs.
- Functions as safety representative and completes monthly building safety inspections and submits appropriate maintenance requests as needed.

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- 1+ years of experience working in a healthcare office setting
- 1+ years of experience working with multiline phones
- 1+ years of experience working with basic office equipment, such as faxes, scanners, copy machines, printers, etc.
- Basic level of Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience working in a customer service role
- Basic knowledge of Epic systems
- Bilingual (English / Spanish)
Nevada Residents Only: The hourly range for Nevada residents is $16.54 to $32.55 per hour.
