Job Description
CCT is recruiting an energetic, confident, and experienced individual to join our growing team. We are searching for someone who has a passion for excellence and a proven ability to inspire that passion in others.
As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for the operation and maintenance of lines on assigned shift, as well as programming, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining plant equipment in a timely, cost-effective manner consistent with established operations procedures and requirements.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting & maintaining production & other plant machinery including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, & hydraulic equipment
- Troubleshoot & comprehend PLCs, controls, meters, & sensor hardware
- Read & understand electrical schematics, ladder logic, and PID
- Assist in the identification of design enhancements that can be made to improve equipment reliability
- Install electrical, electronic parts & mechanical components, and assemblies in machines
- Assist in the installation of new machinery & equipment
- Report broken/inoperable/unsafe equipment and perform equipment repairs
- Maintain ongoing necessary/required training, certifications, & education
- Maintain building and structures
- Comply with company rules & policies including & adherence to SOPs, and maintain the safety, efficiency, & productivity of equipment & plant operations
- Perform preventive maintenance on plant equipment and update PM system
- Work as a team player with other members of the department
- Complete all service requests in a timely manner
- Perform troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical systems
- Maintain the preventative maintenance schedule
- Handle emergency service calls after business hours on an on-call rotation
- Repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or electronic components of electric equipment, using standard tools and gages
- Perform mechanical maintenance and building maintenance as required, motorized lifts and machine tools such as lathe mills, grinders, etc.
- Maintain work area in a clean, orderly, & safe manner
- Adhere to all environmental, health & safety requirements & procedures
- Support safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Assist and support other team members in meeting department and site goals
- Participate and share in performing all tasks necessary to run the facility
- Demonstrate respect for the Company's values daily, maintain and uphold all policies & procedures
- Completion of any specific projects assigned
- Other duties as needed/required to meet company goals
- High school diploma, GED, trade school, or combination of training and experience
- Industrial manufacturing technician work experience Working knowledge of AB/Rockwell Automation programming software including, but not limited to, RSLogix 500 & 5000, Factory Talk View Studio, and PanelBuilder32
- Proven experience working with AC/DC circuits, single and three-phase wiring, motor starters, relays, and relay logic, PLCs, PID loop control
- Working knowledge of Omrons Sysmac Studio programming software
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Able to work overtime, including short-notice requests
- Ability to multitask within a structured environment
- Extraordinary organization skills, strong time management skills, and exceptional communication skills
- Ability to follow electrical schematics and drawings
- Possess the highest standards of accuracy and attention to detail in a dynamic, multitasking environment
- Capacity to work with limited supervision, independently, and as a team member
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

- Able to work normal and/or extended office hours to meet established deadlines
- Works in a production facility environment 100% of the time
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required, for the duration of the workday to stand, carry, lift and move 75 or more pounds, work in a facility with high noise levels and extreme cold and hot temperatures
